Take the guess work out of finding balance and vitality

An old Japanese proverb says: “Don’t wait until you’re thirsty
to dig a well."
Similarly, naturopathic medicine focuses on prevention, and the maintenance of health.  Building on the scientific and diagnostic strengths of conventional medicine, it focuses on finding and treating the root cause of disease.

The human body is designed to achieve homeostasis, or balance, in all of its many functions. By removing blocks and barriers, I believe the body can naturally restore optimum health. I see my main job as helping clients to identify and remove these barriers, so their bodies can naturally revert back to the state of balance they are designed to exist in.

About Dr. Steinman, ND

Having grown up in Southern Germany near the border with Austria, I had the great fortune to experience the pristine alpine nature settings and a naturopathic style of medicine from an early age.

This later inspired me to study at the oldest naturopathic medicial school in the US (The National University of Natural Medicine), in Portland Oregon. During my four year doctoral training, I underwent rigorous classroom and clinical training. I spent extra time focusing my clinical education on women's health and digestive health.

This training prepared me to help people navigate their health concerns in ways that extend beyond palliating symptoms and applying quick fixes, while also meeting people where they are at on their individual health journeys.

With a strong focus on preventative health, my schooling also prepared me to help both those with chronic health conditions and those hoping to stay ahead of the game.
